How do we fight against such hate?

The Romans had quite a wee bit of trouble pacifying the Germanic tribes of Northern Europe, and now you can sit back and watch some of that trouble on top of a substantial amount of bloodshed, fire, and fleeing Italians in Total War: Rome II.

This developer-narrated scenario was the same one being shown off at GDC a wee while ago, and it’s not exactly one where the Romans are in a good position. The Germanic horde sends them packing, with quite a few cuts and bruises. 

While it’s unmistakably Total War, this is by far the most sumptuous and grandiose the series has ever looked. Look at all those bloody trees. I mean, come on, how many trees does Germania really need?
