Techland releases first Dying Light DLC and gives details on the rest

When there is no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth

Dying Light Season Pass holders got their first taste of DLC today with the release of Cuisine & Cargo. It adds two missions to the game, both taking place in buildings sealed since the first days of the outbreak. You’ll get to visit a restaurant that was once patronized by the affluent, and the loading bay of an abandoned rail stockyard. For now, only those who purchased the pass have access as this DLC is not available for separate purchase.

Techland also gave details on the remaining DLC:

  • Ultimate Survival Bundle (March): This DLC will bring you seven new weapons, three outfits, and four blueprints for “over-the-top” weapons.
  • The Bozark Horde (May): The final season pass release will take you to Harran Stadium, where it’s fight to the death against hordes of the Infected. Enemies will get stronger and you’ll also face off against the one behind the area, the psychopath Bozark.

These don’t seem like a bad deal, but also don’t seem to really expand the game all that much. I was hoping for another campaign, or a new section of the town, but with Techland releasing mod support, who knows what will come out from the fanbase.

The season pass can be had for $19.99 and includes all three DLC.
