Nora to Kaku no Koubou is a new DS fantasy RPG from a fantasy team. Producer Shigeo Komori worked on Etrian Odyssey II, III, Devil Summoner and Princess Crown, and now he’s working on this new title. Shinichi Yoshiike of Atelier series fame is also on board as a character designer. Character designs are from EO‘s Yuji Himukai. I’m especially excited about the score, which comes from Michiko Naruke, of Wild Arms fame.
The latest Famitsu says that the game centers around a character named Nora. She comes to Misty Forest to master her trade of alchemy but is suspected of being a witch. She ends up helping the people of a town to prove her innocence, says Andriasang. Nora is capable of controlling time, and can create new items out of old ones. That sounds pretty witchy to me!
This game, which Komori calls a “slow life RPG,” is already 85 percent complete. It will be released in Japan on July 21st. Atlus will be the publisher.
