Yeah, you heard me. I’m excited about anything Taiko no Tatsujin-related (as you may have noticed from my c-blog header), but hearing that the Wii would soon be getting a Taiko title made my day today. The title was spied in Namco-Bandai’s 2008 Financial Summary Report, and although all it says is that the game is scheduled to come out in 2008, that’s all I need to know.
The game is unnamed right now, but here’s to hoping we find out more details as the year rolls by. If I could use two Wiimotes as drumsticks … lord, the applications are endless. I have no idea if it will see an American release, but even if not, I can dash to a friend’s house and play it on his modded Wii (I would never allow such a thing in my own house, of course.)
