I still think that Psyonix Studios’ PlayStation Network battle-car game, Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, has a name that’s just too damned long. Even the abbreviation, SARPBC, is longer than I’d like it to be.
But I can get down with a price drop, as the game has shed $5 and can now be picked up for a cool $9.99 on PSN. Now might be the perfect time to pick it up, too, as they’ve also released a free holiday update that adds a new “Cosmic” arena, and other game fixes and updates (the full list of which you can see after the jump).
Has anyone picked up SARPBC, and is it more fun to play than it is to type out the game’s full name?
Feature updates:
* New “Cosmic” arena
* Improved performance in network games
* A server browser has been added during matchmaking
* Players can now view leaderboards during matchmaking
* News updates appear on the online page
* Meters added to evaluate players’ connection speed
* Headsets can be plugged-in or swapped during gameplay
