Sup Holmes fawns over Merrit Kopas

Get to know the people that make great videogames

Recommended Videos

This week on Sup Holmes we welcome Merrit Kopas to the program. Merrit is a relative newcomer to development, but she’s already turning heads as a champion for games that connect with people in uncommon ways. She reports on them on Forrest Ambassador (perhaps the only site to find out about games like Housefly and Covetous) and on her own site, talks about them at places like the University of Victoria, and makes them herself (HUGPUNXLim, and Bubblegum Slaughter being a few favorites). Start to dig into the world of Merrit Kopas and you’ll be surprised what you find.

We’ll be talking to Merrit about how she went from getting a Master’s degree in Sociology to becoming a developer, advice for others looking to get into the feild, her upcoming game Medusa Medusa, and whatever else she wants to talk about. Join us at 1pm PST/4pm EST for the full thing!
