Students: Get a free Xbox 360 with your new PC

School always sucks, but having the yearly excuse to get new things like computers and clothing is always good. Well, unless you hate clothing. You could be that guy that wears generic jeans and a Fruit of the Loom hoodie every day. Still, new computer!

Microsoft is working with participating retailers to give high school and college students a free 4GB Xbox 360 with the purchase of any Windows PC priced at $699 or more. Nice. A Xbox 360 has nothing to do with school, but I’m sure all students will be glad to take one.

Microsoft has all the details here, but here’s the summary: Students with an .edu email address can purchase a new PC through participating retailers including Dell.com, HP.com or the Microsoft Store. They will need to verify student status in order to purchase. Quantities are limited, mind you. Start shopping by May 22 to get in on this. Check in with your local retailers now.
