Capcom is taking its first steps toward launching a global beta test for Street Fighter V today after the failed tests last month. In a post on the Capcom Unity blog, the company announced it is going to start with a string of region-specific stress tests in order to gather information, so it can re-launch the beta originally scheduled for late July.

The first region receiving the beta is Europe, where players who pre-ordered the game will be able to test it out today from 16:00-00:00 BST, as well as tomorrow at the same time. Additional details of dates and times for the other regions will follow the completion of Europe’s test. The company also assured fans that the original five day global beta test will still happen, so this is just another chance to play the game.
