Street Fighter HD press kit: As rad as the Mega Man 9 kit Capcom didn’t send us

Recommended Videos

If you’ve gazed upon it, there’s little chance you’ve forgotten the fantastic press kit/retro packaging Capcom put together for Mega Man 9. Now, they’re doing the same for Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, which launches on PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE this week.

The results are equally as amazing as the treatment the Blue Bomber got earlier in the year — retro packaging stuffed with: Ryu’s headband; a rare Chun-Li figure; an E. Honda stage/character magnet set; a Street Fighter Remix comic book; and an asset disc crammed with high-resolution artwork and screenshots.

Yes, we’re drooling. And no, we’re not holding our breath that Capcom will actually send us one of these, since the Mega Man 9 packaging must have been sniped by our mail carrier. (“Bitter” doesn’t even begin to cover it, guys.) They are considering offering up 300 of the bad boys on the Capcom store, so we’ll be standing in line right along with you to get our hands on this hotness.

[Thanks, Buster]
