Steam now lists Steam Machines and other hardware

These things sure are pricey

In its push to expand the “Steam universe,” Valve has added store listings for Steam Machines as well as the finalized Steam Controller and also Steam Link, a PC-to-TV streaming device.

All of this stuff will become available in November. The controller and Link are priced at $49.99 each, while the various small-scale PCs range in price from $479.99 to $4,999.99.

The form factor is nice, but you’re paying a premium by going this route. Even if you think you can’t build your own PC, you probably can, but go ahead and do what you want with your money.
