Star Wars Jedi: Survivor week one patch notes and PC fixes

Star WarsĀ  Jedi: Survivor has a host of issues on PC, and some lingering problems on PS5/Xbox Series X/S. Although I was able to fully complete the game with very little in the way of lost progress, those bugs should be fixed at some point regardless. Thankfully this week’s patch is doing just that on consoles, while Respawn works on a future PC patch.

The PC patch, due out on May 1, apparently deals with “performance improvements for non-raytraced rendering.” That’s not going to even scratch the surface on PC, but the console patches are a bit heftier. Here’s the full rundown on the major things that are being patched on May 2 forĀ Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

  • Crash fixes (I personally encountered two total on PS5 throughout thr campaign and beyond)
  • Performance improvements (likely some framerate fixes for specific areas like Rambler’s Reach)
  • Rendering problems (pop-in and character model woes)
  • A photo mode T-pose glitch
  • A fix for a progress-halting bug in the Chamber of Duality area

Based on my experience, that takes care ofĀ most of the console issues, if this patch actually does everything it says. As for the PC debacle, we need to wait a bit longer, it seems.

You can check out the full patch notes for the first week ofĀ Jedi Survior’s launch below: which we obtained directly from a rep for Respawn Games.
