During their September 2023 Nintendo Direct, Nintendo revealed the next title in the SaGa franchise as SaGA Emerald Beyond. The title will serve as a standalone entry in the franchise. We also got a reveal trailer showing off the cool character design and gameplay.

The last time we saw the popular Square Enix RPG on a console was when Romancing SaGa 3 and SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions each got ports.
In SaGa Emerald Beyond, players will venture across 17 mysterious worlds with their own branching stories. The RPG will have multiple endings and replayability as choices tell a unique tale with each playthrough.
