SSF IV ships a million, lack of surprise palpable

Obligatory post is obligatory, but to the surprise of no one Super Street Fighter IV has shipped a million copies in its first week. With new characters, better balance and a discounted price if you didn’t see this game flying of the shelf this quickly then might I suggest procuring a guide dog for yourself.

Clearly getting SSF IV is the cool thing to do. If you don’t have it yet you probably should get it. According to my Twitter feed (following me is cool too, you know) over the past week everyone on Destructoid is playing it except me as I only watch people play fighting games. Buying the game is totally hip and with it, man, and selling a million copies that quick only backs up its coolness.
