Eyasluna got a shiny overhaul with Destiny 2‘s Monument of Triumph, complete with devastating, highly coveted combinations in its god roll. Only a couple of its perks from its pool in Grasp of Avarice survived, and that’s one of the best things to happen to this hand cannon.
Destiny 2‘s last major content update turned Eyasluna’s god rolls into powerhouses, with excellent options up for grabs regardless of your favorite activity type. Here are the best perks for this hand cannon, in our opinion, based on trait data from light.gg.
Eyasluna PvE god roll in Destiny 2

- Barrel: Smallbore
- Mag: Ricochet Rounds, Light Mag, or Appended Mag
- First perk: Firefly or Meganeura
- Second perk: Headstone, Chaos Reshaped, or Crystalline Corpsebloom
The Firefly/Headstone roll in Solemn Remembrance made guardians’ mouths water when it dropped in The Edge of Fate, though it was an exclusive drop from Competitive matches. Now, however, Eyasluna can roll that exact combination, making it much easier to acquire (and far more stylish).
And if Firefly wasn’t spicy enough, Eyasluna also gets its hands on Meganeura, which is like Rapid Hit and Dragonfly combined. Meganeura improves the damage and size of its explosions based on the number of precision hits you got before, though it doesn’t give you the reload speed bonus from Firefly.
If you’re familiar with Eyasluna’s previous iteration, you’ll notice a distinct lack of reload perks (unless you count Firefly). It used to have Rapid Hit, Outlaw, and Perpetual Motion, but these were phased out in favor of perks more appropriate to the modern sandbox.
The fourth column makes Eyasluna even more outstanding. Headstone is still around, retaining one of the elements that made its D2 iteration so iconic, but the weapon also gets access to Crystalline Corpsebloom. And if that wasn’t enough, Chaos Reshaped can be baked in for extra damage and healing after being in combat for a bit.
That said, there’s one notable absence in Eyasluna’s perk pool: Rimestealer, the other Stasis verb. This isn’t a huge loss, though: Judgment (from Prophecy) can roll Headstone/Rimestealer, has the same archetype, and is even easier to obtain.
If you’re looking to bag an Eyasluna for the Crucible, however, your options are different—but just as good.
Eyasluna PvP god roll in Destiny 2

- Barrel: Hammer-Forged Rifling or Smallbore
- Mag: Accurized Rounds, Ricochet Rounds, or High-Caliber Rounds
- First perk: Rangefinder, Zen Moment, or Elemental Capacitor
- Second perk: Moving Target or Precision Instrument
When it comes to god rolls, there’s far more room for preference, variety, and personal expression in PvP than in PvE, but Eyasluna has some of the big names up for grabs.
Rangefinder isn’t the powerhouse it used to be, but it can still be a formidable pick for the Crucible. So can Zen Moment, which improves stability as you land shots.
On the flip side, Elemental Capacitor can provide a lot of different benefits, but it depends on your equipped subclass. It’s a good pick if you know what you want, but if you’re looking for something more general, aim for the other two. Our remaining recommendation is Slideshot for reloads, but it doesn’t directly make it easier to kill your enemies, so it’s up to personal choice.
On the fourth column, Precision Instrument can help in the damage department as long as you’re landing shots without missing, and the synergy with Zen Moment is easy to notice. Precision Instrument is easy to notice. On the flip side, Moving Target is also an option to improve this weapon’s consistency, making it our personal pick.
Additionally, Firefly/Headstone could potentially be deadly in the Crucible as well, improving your ability to take on grouped foes. This may not solve your problems if you’re outnumbered and outgunned, however.
How to get Eyasluna in Destiny 2

Eyasluna is a random drop from Avarokk, the Covetous, the final boss in the Grasp of Avarice dungeon. This means Eyasluna is locked behind ownership of the 30th Anniversary Pack, purchasable either as part of the Destiny 2 Collection or individually. The good news is, you’ll also get access to Gjallarhorn.
