Roblox Squid Game X Tier List – Best Upgrades & Game Passes

Eventually you’ll farm all the Upgrades in Roblox’s Squid Game X but I’m here to talk about the best ones to buy first if you’re a beginner or mid-game player. We’ll also take a look at the best game passes and see which ones are worth the Robux. Let’s analyze and rank each one in our Squid Game X tier list for upgrades and passes.

Squid Game X Upgrade Tier List

All Upgrades are good in certain scenarios so there’s no D-Tier today but I’m here to show you the best Upgrade in Squid Game X to get first. These are usually upgrades that have a wide variety of uses in multiple games to give you an advantage. Note that some are really useful for Night Brawl which can happen at any time randomly after any game. You’ll eventually farm them all so check out our farming tips for coins after the tier lists below. Check out the ranking reasons and tips for all Upgrades below.

S-Tier Upgrades

Upgrade	Effect	Ranking Reason/Notes/Tips
Sprint Boost	• Increases your movement speed while sprinting per level	• Useful and gives you an advantage in most games • Best upgrade in Squid Game X to max out first • Especially useful in Night Brawl to position yourself, Rebellion, and Squid Game to not get knocked out
Health Boost	• Increases your maximum HP per level	• One of the best secondary upgrades after Sprint • The second most used Upgrade in the game • Helps in all HP-based games like Night Brawl, Rebellion, and even Squid Game to some extent

A-Tier Upgrades

Upgrade	Effect	Ranking Reason/Notes/Tips
Jump Boost	• Increases the height of your jump per level	• Extremely useful in Night Brawl if you’re getting swarmed to jump on the highest beds fast • Amazing in Glass Bridge since it allows you to jump over 2 glass panels on max level • I would max this either second or third depending on if you prefer Health
Damage Boost	• Boosts your melee damage per level • Doesn’t increase gun damage	• Useless on Guard and Frontman • Really good for Night Brawl if you want to play aggressively and eliminate some players • Otherwise if you prefer a more passive play style this is C-Tier • Helps in Rebellion if you lose the gun
Guard Earnings Boost	• Boosts your Coin gain per level when playing as a Guard	• This is an overall useful upgrade if you find yourself playing Guard a lot • Otherwise it’s useless and you can ignore it

B-Tier Upgrades

Upgrade	Effect	Ranking Reason/Notes/Tips
Tug of War Skill	• Increases how fast you progress on Tug of War skill checks	• While this is a great upgrade, it’s only useful in Tug of War so that’s why it’s lower than the others • That said, this can annihilate the enemy team if they don’t also have it • Overall, if you’re good at the skill check you don’t need this but it helps a lot, especially if you are one man down

C-Tier Upgrades

Glass Inspection	• Each level allows you to see fake glass in one row on Glass Bridge maxing out at halfway across	• The worst upgrade in Squid Game X • This is because not only does it work in only one game but it only works halfway when maxed, not for the entire bridge • That said, you can troll players by saying you have it and telling them via chat to jump left or right to check for false glass

Squid Game X Game Pass Tier List

In general I wouldn’t recommend buying the game passes in Squid Game X since they’re not worth the Robux. You can pretty much just farm everything in this game with Coins (farming tips below). This is why there’s not S-Tier, none of them are a must-have. That said, if you have some extra Robux here are the most useful ones to have. Let’s analyze and dive into each game pass separately below.

A-Tier Passes

VIP	• Doubles coin gain from all sources • VIP chat tag	• The best game pass in Squid Game X • Increases the speed of unlocking everything else • On the cheaper end of game passes

B-Tier Passes

Game Pass	Effect	Ranking Reason/Notes/Tips
Extra Life	• You can revive once per round • If you revive in Squid Game you count as a winner	• In general I wouldn’t recommend getting it but it is a useful game pass
Marbles	• You roll 2 extra marbles in the Marbles game increasing your options	• A one game boost pass exclusively for Marbles but it’s cheaper than Glass Maker
Glass Maker	• You can see false glass in Glass Bridge	• On the expensive end but it allows you to see all false glass unlike the Upgrade which only allows you to see halfway at max level • Don’t Upgrade Glass Vision if you’re planning to get this • You can troll players in chat during Glass Bridge without having this game pass by saying you do and telling them to go left or right to check for false glass

C-Tier Passes

Game Pass	Effect	Ranking Reason/Notes/Tips
Extra Speed	• A 20% increase to your walking and sprinting speed	• While it’s on the cheaper end the increase is quite weak • If you’re maxed out the Sprint Boost, you don’t really need this

D-Tier Passes

Game Pass	Effect	Ranking Reason/Notes/Tips
More Quests	• You get a third quest to make extra Coins	• Not that big of a deal but it is the cheapest game pass
Elite Guard	• 50% more Coins from all sources as a Guard • Elite tag • Golden MP5 skin	• Too expensive for something that you can only benefit from while playing Guard which isn’t all the time unless you have the Perma Guard bundle

Squid Game X Coin Farming Guide

Besides winning Squid Game, here are some methods to farm coins in Squid Game X so that you can unlock all Upgrades fast:

• Rebellion: You can farm coins by killing guards in Rebellion and/or spawn camping them by killing them as they respawn. To activate Rebellion, you need to be in the Night Brawl game mode which can happen randomly after any game. Then, pick up a gun and kill guards and then make it to the control room by following white arrows outside of the dorm room. If you’re a Guard player, you’ll also get coins here by killing regular players who leave the dorm room or pick up a gun. You get coins for each kill no matter the team you’re on and you get bonus coins for making it to the control room.
• Playing as Guard: You can farm coins by shooting players who fail challenges and cleaning their bodies up. This is especially great if you have the Guard Earning Boost Upgrade, VIP pass, or the Guard Earning game pass. It works even better if there are not a lot of guards with you in a round.
• VIP Game Pass: While game passes are generally not worth it, the VIP one is the best one if you have extra Robux and are planning to play Squid Game X for a long time. It doubles your coin gain from all sources for all game modes and roles.
