Sony says trophies will sync faster now, but where’s our PSN name change option?

Yay?

For those of you who pray to the altar of the almighty Platinum, Sony has announced a new development in the trophy saga — you can now sync your trophies “much more quickly.”

Why — for literal years — it took this long, no one will know. I always found it odd that Achievements unlocked instantly and posted at the very start of their run, and trophies had to manually be synced (which sometimes took upward of a minute for me).

But based on the responses to the official tweet, everyone still really wants the ability to change their PSN name — another feature Microsoft has had for years. This whole situation is really funny to me because Sony is probably really proud of this development and possibly spent tons of R&D on it, and everyone is just asking for another feature.
