Someone stuck an NES into a shoe … that’s about it, really

Sneakers and the NES, together at last! It was once such a fruitless struggle — I’d spend hours, sometimes days of my childhood cramming NES cartridges into my Thomas the Tank Engine boots, desperate to be able to play Gremlins II via my footwear. Thank Christ for whomever finally turned this sneaker into a fully working NES! Now I can move past my childhood trauma and enter a bright new world.

Brought to me by TheGoldenDonut via NeoGAF, it took just a little research to deduce that this photo was apparently taken in New York on Friday Night at the Sneaker Pimps’ worldwide tour. Sneaker Pimps are good, pimped sneakers are good, so the two combined is a kind of double-good that exudes good goodness to good people and with good reason.

Now all they need to do is create the Genesis Bra and I will be Heaven.
