So, which is it going to be? Xbox One or PlayStation 4?

This morning, Microsoft kept Kinect mostly out of its E3 2013 press conference. It also showed some restraint by not rambling on about entertainment for too long, instead sticking with Xbox One (and even a couple Xbox 360) games for most of the event. The pacing, it can also be said, wasn’t bad at all. An okay show, for the most part.

And yet, here we are, still pretty much hating the new console due to Microsoft’s online verification requirements and anti-consumer policy for used games. Despite Killer Instinct, Ryse, Dead Rising 3, another Halo, and more, for many of us, Xbox One is simply rotten at the core. The $499 price point — Who or what is to blame? Bundled-in Kinect? — also didn’t help matters.

I wasn’t so sure Sony would take a wholly different stance with PlayStation 4, even if the thought did terrify me; it was all too quiet leading up to this week. But after a rather slow press conference talking about PlayStation 3 and PS Vita games we already knew about, it finally happened — Sony laid the smackdown with its lack of always-online DRM, its pro-used-games policy, and its $399.99 price point. The company did all it needed to.

With all that said, I’ll admit it — both consoles will eventually end up in my home. (Like I have a choice!) The real question is, which one are you getting first, if either of them? Who has won your hard-earned savings? Head to the comments and/or vote in our poll below!
