In an uncanny interview with GameTrailers TV‘s Geoff Keighley, a bandage-covered CEO of Moby Dick Studio, supposedly) dodged questions about The Phantom Pain but did go on record to say that he’ll have a new trailer this month at the Game Developers Conference. “It will answer all of your questions,” he told Keighley.
Mogren brought along his iPad with concept art and screenshots from the game, the latter of which featured a logo for Kojima Productions’ FOX Engine. As you might recall, that’s the tech powering Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes. Whatever The Phantom Pain ends up being, I must say, it’s been a fun trip leading up to the reveal. Way better than a countdown teaser website and the like.
