When talking about the best Clans in Slayers 2 we need to consider if they’re tied to a specific Breathing Style or Blood Demon/Evil Art or if they’re generally strong. Basically, you can think of the S and A-Tier as the best clans with S-Tiers having an edge with better skills and higher stat boosts. Check out the individual Clan ranking reasons and notes below.

S-Tier Clans
| Clans | Ranking Notes |
|---|---|
| Rengoku Supreme Clan | • The highest DPS clan due to the best damage factor boost, a ton of burn damage and burn-boosted M1s • You also get a free combo extender with Indomitable Will plus a damage increase and damage reflection with the mode • Last but not least you’re resistant to Fire and immune to the Indomitable Will combo extend from the other top-tier clans which is really strong defensively • Easily the strongest clan in the game for a lot of builds |
| Agatsuma Mythic Clan S-Tier Only With Thunder | • Goes with an S-Tier Breathing Style buffing Thunder’s damage • Has the damage amplification mark, a damage boost on low HP and applies burn with Flaming Thunder God • Overall just a ton of great damage boosts for an amazing Breathing Style for an easy S-Tier |
| Soyama Supreme Clan | • Soyama is pretty strong for the free counter skill and a massive damage factor boost • The other skills are also really good for PVP and PVE with a free combo extender stun and damage boosts when you lose HP • Just a great clan for a lot of builds |
| Uzui Supreme Clan | • Combines excellent offensive boosts with the defensive potential of Douma • You get damage amplification which is great for PVP and PVE alongside various buffs like more damage or auto-dodges • Good for farming XP and counters Poison builds which is good since Poison damage isn’t uncommon • Plus, you can autoblock skills so this clan is a better version of Douma |
| Kamado Supreme Clan | • Let’s ignore Headbut not being great and focus on a slew of positives • The stun move is great for combos, you get some of the best damage and stamina factor passive buffs and you get demon regen and sun immunity • For overall PVP and PVE damage you also get Combat Intuition which just buffs you on HP loss • It’s incredibly useful for Demons who don’t want to sack a gear slot for sun immunity and great for Slayers too for overall damage and combos |
| Kocho | • The best clan for a Poison build but you have to be using Insect Breathing which is one of the better styles • You get Poison damage buffs, Insect buffs, debuffs on your skills which are really good for PVP and PVE • Plus, you’re immune to Poison overall • The best Legendary and the best clan for its niche |
A-Tier Clans
| Clans | Ranking Notes |
|---|---|
| Himejima Mythic Clan | • A great damage factor boost alongside damage reduction skills and buffs • Overall decent for all modes and movesets since you can even apply damage amplification • The focus on getting hit to utilize the clan well doesn’t really make me want to put this in S-Tier since end-game PVP and PVE wants you to avoid damage • It’s still one of the better clans and at the top of A-Tier |
| Iguro Mythic Clan | • Serpent/Snake Breathing is one of the best Breathing Styles so Iguro is automatically a good clan option due to its mode that buffs it • Plus you get some neat benefits for a Poison damage build along with a nice PVE skill with the %HP damage snake for bosses • It’s overall great but not among the strongest clans in the game and not even the best Poison build clan which goes to Kocho |
| Shinazugawa Mythic Clan | • Wind isn’t the best Style due to its start-ups but Shinazugawa doesn’t focus on Wind too much and still gives you a bunch of overall damage buffs with its stats and mode • You also get some tools for a Poison damage build which isn’t as good for a pure Poison build like Kocho or Iguro but is still very good • Last but not least you get a chunky progression booster for both weapons and overall EXP so it’s a great clan to have, just not the strongest |
| Douma Mythic Clan | • A very defensive/dueling-oriented clan if you prefer that playstyle with 3 auto-dodges per skill • The clone swap can also get you out of combos which is really nice • You can play around these defensive abilities but they’ll still help the Douma player get momentum and Douma does get a hefty damage factor buff so it’s a pretty great clan even though it’s not the strongest • It does boost Demon progression which is also neat |
B-Tier Clans
| Clans | Ranking Notes |
|---|---|
| Shabana Legendary Clan | • Mainly good for group-based PVE with its zone damage buff and ally buffs • The only universally good solo PVE and PVP skill is the poison damage • Still, it’s a very specific-use kind of clan so I feel like B-Tier fits but it’s higher if you’re playing group PVE |
| Tamayo Mythic Clan | • Can be a neat PVE progression clan in a team for the healing and the CD reset against bosses • Plus you have some debuffs for both PVE and PVP • That said, while these can be powerful, they’re very situational and struggle to keep up with the power of the A-Tier and S-Tier clans • Plus you get no passives so B-Tier seems perfect |
| Ubuyashiki Legendary Clan | • A lot of interesting skills here for a fun off-Meta build • The detonate deals decent damage and the summon helps keep up the pressure • The best skill is the block ignore which is quite good for PVP • The problem is that there are no damage boosts like the other clans so while the skills are interesting, you are pretty weak in comparison |
| Tomioka Legendary Clan | • The cooldown resets are really good but that’s where the good things end • The rest of the clan is based on Water Breathing which is the weakest Slayer style and unless it gets buffed you won’t see it a lot • So the CD reset keeps it at B-Tier |
| Urokodaki Rare Clan | • Urokodaki is mostly good for the impressive passive damage boost and the one in mode is quite good for Water Breathing • The problem is that Water style is really weak right now • If Water gets buffed a lot, this clan is going higher but for now you mainly want it for an early damage factor increase |
C-Tier Clans
| Clans | Ranking Notes |
|---|---|
| Yahaba Rare Clan | • The best C-Tier Clan due to the combo extender move • It’s still not the best but Arrow Manipulation can at least be quite good for PVE so Yahaba is much better than all other C-Tiers |
| Sabito & Makomo Rare Clan | • Both are like Urokodaki and focus on Water but they’re weaker with Sabito being slightly better than Makomo |
| Susumaru Rare Clan | • Tamari isn’t a good Evil Art so this clan reflects that but this is a nice beginner clan if you’re partied with another Susumaru/Yahaba |
