Silverbolt & Brawl join the War for Cybertron

It’s Friday, and that means it’s time to meet yet another pair of characters set to appear in Transformers: War for Cybertron. This week, the Autobots get Silverbolt and the Decepticons are represented by Brawl. 

Silverbolt is a selfless and grim warrior who is happy to lay down his life for his fellow Autobots. He’s a scout-class character who transforms into a jet and wields a good deal of speed. Brawl is as reckless with his life was Silverbolt, but only because he’s “obsessed with explosions and chaotic, unending combat.” This soldier-class Decepticon turns into a tank and is all about simple destruction. He’ll be best known to G1 fans as the leader of the Combaticons, the untrustworthy gestalt soldiers who combined to form Bruticus. 

I’m really impressed with the size and variety of War for Cybertron‘s character roster. Nice to see a few more obscure characters going up as well, although I guess it’ll be far too much to hope we see Astrotrain turn up.
