Jade Shadows: Constellations is now available in Warframe, and you have a crucial decision to make at the beginning of the quest. There are two new protoframes in Ryoku and Vena, and we have to pick one of them.

Let’s find out who you should pick, although there’s no wrong choice.

Who should you help in Warframe Jade Shadows: Constellations

Once you have cleared the prerequisites, you can begin and complete the Jade Shadows: Constellations quest. You’ll need to go to the Uranus Proxima node to start the missions. There will be two available options.

  • Scoria’s Angel
  • The Kuva Wytch

If you select Scoria’s Angel, you’ll be helping out Vena. Go with The Kuva Wytch, and you’ll be siding with Ryoku. Incidentally, you’ll be aided by your partner to go against the other protoframe. You’ll begin your assault against their ships with the objective of defeating them.

Now, as I said, there’s no bad choice here; you can complete the quest with either Vena or Ryoku. The two Railjack ships are entirely different, and this was something that helped me make my choice. Vena’s ship is like a living machine, while Ryoku has his ship trapped in an ambush. I wanted to face the latter, and I also loved Vena’s protoframe design more. Hence, she was the obvious choice.

There are also tokens of favor. You’ll get Emerald Talents tokens from aiding Ryoku, while Crimson Talents will be handed out for helping Vena. Both tokens can be used at the vendor in Pontis Tower (which becomes accessible once you complete Jade Shadows: Constellations).

You can use these tokens for items related to Sirius and Orion, their signature weapon, and more. You can also use the tokens to upgrade your railjack crews for other parts of your adventure. The tokens appear to have universal use so far, but that could change in the future. Moreover, you can also try this challenge from the Pontis Tower as part of a skirmish.

It’s advisable that you grind only one type of mission to get the maximum returns on your tokens. You’ll be facing both of them in the campaign, so it doesn’t matter. This guide is more about the skirmishes that you can complete from Uranus Proxima.

While you can ally with either to unlock the Sirius and Orion frame, the same can’t be said about their signature weapons. While you can use the same tokens to unlock the blueprints of Wrath and Pride, you’ll need specific variants.
