I’m using my Xbox One more than ever now that Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise is playable by way of Rare Replay. Gotta catch ’em all. Backward compatibility is a huge deal for people like me who have an extensive Xbox 360 library and a slow, nearly-broken console keeping them away.
One game I’m eager to play again is Shadow Complex, in part because we’re seemingly never going to get a sequel. Xbox preview members can play Chair’s metroidvania and Gears of War on Xbox One starting today. Head into the Ready to Install section if you own either title digitally.
As for the rest of us, the public backward compatibility launch is still set for fall 2015.
