Rumortoid Smash: Conker, Jade Empire not coming to 360, I’m also bad at math

Recommended Videos

Recently, we brought word that Xbox titles Conker Live & Reloaded and Jade Empire may be making their way to Xbox LIVE Marketplace in the form of Xbox Originals. This was based on assets for the games “mysteriously” appearing on a public Microsoft press FTP; we put two and two together, and came up with 17. (Yes, I know I’m not good at math … thanks to everyone who pointed this out.)

It seems we might have made an “ass” out of “u” and “me,” as the truth isn’t quite as exciting as you’d hope. Trivia Web site Kwanzoo’s Tom McShea clears things up a bit for us, and at the same time ruins the hopes and dreams of Rare and BioWare fans across the ‘net.

As Tom tells us, Kwanzoo will be launching a videogame trivia section in a few weeks. Tom says he contacted their Microsoft PR rep for some images of a few older titles, which were then placed on the server. Bottom line: Nothing to see here; move along.

“Here’s a warning,” adds Tom, “though Grabbed by the Ghoulies will most likely have images added to their server, this does not indicate that they will ever release this cult hit on XBLA. It just means I wrote trivia for this colossal bomb.”

Hey, I kind of liked that game, thank you very much.
