Roblox Build an Island just dropped their new update, and now we can have animals on our islands. Like many Roblox games, the animals range in rarity, and if you’re after some of them, things are going to get mighty expensive. However, if you are determined to catch them all, here is a Complete Build an Island All Animals Guide.

How to Get Animals in Build an Island

You can get Animals relatively early, even if you just started playing. Simply start expanding the island from the right of the Merchant, and you’ll have yourself a bridge that leads to an island barn. If you need a guide to earn more coins, check out our Build an Island Coin Farming Guide. From there, you’ll unlock your first barn and two gacha eggs (one regular and one premium).
If you have the money, you can pull your first pets right then and there. Once you pull the Animals, they will appear in your inventory. Simply equip them, approach the barn, and put the animals in. They will start walking around the closed area.

What Do Animals Do in Build an Island

Animals earn you gold each time they eat a Haybale. You can make Haybales by collecting Wheat and converting 4 into 1 at the Hay Baler. The rarer the Animal is, the more they will earn per Haybale eaten. Animals also poop, and will leave their droppings on the ground. As gross as it might seem, collect each of these for an extra 100 Gold.
You can easily unlock the first two barns (enough to store 10 animals), but for the third one, you need access to Salt and Salt Bags before you can finish the Animal Island. Unlocking Salt takes a long time, so please be patient.

To actually get animals, you need to buy Gacha Eggs. At first, you’ll only be able to buy Starter Eggs, but as you progress, you can eventually start buying Farm Eggs and even Elite Eggs. Unfortunately, you can only obtain Exotic Eggs by spending Robux, and these have the best pets.
Each pet can also have three different variants: Regular, Gold, and Rainbow. Needless to say, Gold Animals earn more than Regular ones, and Rainbow ones earn the most.
