That’s Emumu in the header, otherwise known as the emo version of League of Legends champion Amumu. Come October 13, 2012, we’ll have one thing in common: we both won’t be competing in the League of Legends Season 2 championship, with a total of $3 million in prizes, and thus, we’ll be sad pandas.

Come October, winners from North America, Europe, China, Korea and non-Korean Asian areas are all going to meet in LA for the World Championship. Riot also drops a few statistics, namely the fact that they average 1-2 million viewers during their livestreams of major League events, which is obviously impressive.

It’s been a few months since I’ve played League of Legends, and I’m sure that if I were to jump back in, I’d have to entirely re-learn the new meta. Hopefully Gangplank and jungle Lee Sin are still viable: maybe I can find a 5s team and make a run for the championship!
