Renegade Kid signs with publisher for new title, quiet on details

In a recent video blog, Renegade Kid’s Jools Watsham has revealed that the developer has signed a contract for a new game, but offered little details on the project.

“It might be the game I’m most excited about ever in my career,” he says, setting high expectations.

Watsham is quick to point out that the game is not the previously teased Dracula title that was announced in conjunction with the now defunct Gamecock Media Group. It should be noted that while we jokingly speculated the title would based on the 1972 blacksploitation flick Blacula, that’s not the case. From what we hear around the water cooler, the vampire in question would be a bit … younger. It’s unclear if that particular project is still in development.

Renegade Kid’s Nintendo DS title Moon is set for a January 13 release and is being published by Mastiff.
