Rare employees need to work on their pirate vocabulary

It’s booty

Rare, a developer that is currently making a pirate-themed video game, doesn’t know a ton of pirate vernacular. Or so this video would make it seem. Sure, the sample size is pretty small and the questions are kind of obscure, so it probably isn’t too big of a deal. I’m sure they all know what “Ahoy, matey!” and “Land, ho!” mean.

Apparently it’s “Talk Like a Pirate Day” again, a fine opportunity for Rare to showcase its pirate knowledge (or lack thereof). If this doesn’t fill you with confidence, Jordan’s preview from E3 will. Sounds like the employees just need to brush up on the terminology.

Maybe Rare should hire Michael Bolton as an outside consultant.
