Heads up, folks — the latest update for your PlayStation 3, 3.15, is now available for the downloading and the installing.
This update brings, among other things, the ability to play PSP Mini titles right on your PS3. Surprisingly, they don’t look as junky as you’d expect on a big-screen, high definition television. While it certainly didn’t have the same crisp look as it did on my PSP screen, the PSP Mini games I tested out were completely playable on the console. There have been reports of some incompatibility issues, but I haven’t run into any yet; let us know if you run into any problems.
The PSP Mini support is good news for both developers of the titles and those who don’t own a PSP. The bite-sized games are cheap, but many of them are solid titles for the buck. Any PSP Mini suggestions for fellow Dtoid readers? Let ’em know in the comments.
