PS4 UI covered at GDC

Chris Norden, Senior Staff Engineer, gave a developer overview of the PS4 this morning at GDC 2013. He talked about the PS4 user experience, which they’re calling Connected UX. The thought process behind Connected UX is that everything and everyone is…well…connected!

Norden quickly touched on the five key principles of Connected UX. He says that it’s to be simple to use, and should be immediate. Social connectivity is also a key component, as is integration with the PlayStation Vita, mobile and other plantforms are also a goal. Finally, a personalized experience is important to Sony for the PS4.

No images were shown of this system, so expect to hear more closer to E3 this year!
