The concept of “Ladies Who Lunch” somehow got a whole lot less boring last night at the The Carlyle hotel in New York as a tea party was held to celebrate the release of Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box. Good old Nintendo with their determination to capture the “new” demographic! If these pictures were in fact not staged and these ladies are indeed having fun, the delicious disease of Dr. Layton may well have been spread to your mom, sister-in-law or next door neighbor already.
The game actually comes out Monday, by the way. I will be straight up honest and admit that the first Professor Layton game made me feel as dumb as a post, but after some time spent with it I eventually made some headway. I’m guessing I’ll endure similar trials with Diabolical Box, but I’m going to get it anyway. How about you?
