PowerWash Simulator’s Warhammer 40K Special Pack gets a release date

Time to cleanse the filth.

PowerWash Simulator is no stranger to unusual collaborations. From Final Fantasy VII to SpongeBob SquarePants, this compelling cleaning sim is willing to tackle dirt no matter where it may be. Following a series of teasing posts on X by the PowerWash Simulator account, we finally have a release date for what might be the most ambitious crossover yet, Warhammer 40,000.

Use the might of the powerwasher to purge the unclean

PowerWash Simulator leaps to the 41st Millennium to clean the various instruments of death and destruction of the Warhammer 40,000 universe on February 27, 2024. Players will be able to clean everything from a Rogal Dorn battle tank to an Imperial Knight and even an entire Sacristan Forgeshrine. There isn’t a price listed yet, but I would expect it to be in line with other, non-Square Enix, collaborations at $7.99.

I’ll admit that I know next to nothing about Warhammer 40,000, but my love for powerwashing might lead me down a dangerous path of learning deep lore and using my savings account on minis. As I trade in my gills from Bikini Bottom for a sacred MKII Aqua-Santica Arquebus powerwasher, I step into a world filled with fanaticism, endless war, and utterly filthy machines.

Even if I ultimately don’t fall head over heels in love with Warhammer 40,000, I’ll take any excuse to boot up one of my favorite titles and zone out to the hum of a powerwasher. Still, I wouldn’t be opposed to seeing some of the masters in the Warhammer community fashioning powerwashers for their minis.
