Police arrest two in PS3 shooting; victim sucks too!

By now, unless you’ve been living under the Xbox 360 power brick, you’ve heard the story of the guy who was camping out for a PlayStation 3 only to catch a couple bullets to the abdomen (I REALLY wanted to write thorax, so can we all just picture him as a giant beetle for a moment so that sentence works? — Nex). Well, the good news is that they caught the perpetrators, and are preparing to backhand them with the righteous pimp hand of justice.

The two men, William J. Robertson, 20, of Woodstock, and Andrew Patnaude, 17, of Putnam, (both cities in Connecticut), were charged with attempted murder and robbery and for being “mark-ass busters”. They’re being held on $1 million bail and have had court appearances scheduled for yesterday and later today.

When I was in high school, I routinely knifed old ladies for cash so I could head down to the 5 and dime and buy a pack of Lucky Strikes and more Palm-Aid for my hair, but shooting some poor nerd just because he’s dumb enough to wait in line for a console launch is just harsh.

Even if said nerd was just buying the PS3s to sell on eBay
