Point Perfect makes clicking and dragging fun

Get your mouse hand limbered up

There aren’t too many games that can promise a “less is more” experience. Most of the time, games are trying to cram more and more features and controls to build a well-rounded experience. Point Perfect is a bit different; the only controls you’ll need are your mouse and some quick reactions. Hidden under its 8-bit styled graphics is a tough game.

While Point Perfect looks pretty simple, there’s a good deal of variety in its short game modes. The player controls a cursor and has to avoid enemy ships or asteroids to progress but if you’re feeling brave, then you can drag and click your mouse to target an enemy and blow them up. It’s risky and quite a challenge to snare a moving target but considering your progress is judged on score, then you’re well worth taking the risk.

It’s a straightforward game really but it’s worth checking out if you’re in the mood for some good old point-grabbing fun.
