This is a call to arms
If you want to accuse me of thinking that Techland tries waaaaay too hard sometimes, I’m guilty, guilty, guilty. Lock me up and throw away the key. For every fine example of continued support for the community, there’s a dumb marketing scheme like hiring a parkour expert to…I don’t know. Teach the developers how to run and jump?
The latest ploy requires a little fan interaction. Techland wants you to write a 200-word letter as if you were a survivor in a rapidly decaying quarantine zone. All hope is lost, and you’re saying goodbye to your loved ones. The best letters will be included in the Dying Light: The Following add-on in a post office setting.
Let’s turn sad time into sexy time.
How about we inundate Techland with zombie apocalypse erotica? The developers want creative writing, so let’s give it to them. Write your most boner-inducing Dying Light fanfic, and shoot it on over to the people who made the game. Guaranteed that they’ll read it, because someone’s getting paid to do that.
Letters are supposed to be submitted to the Dying Light Facebook page as a message. If you partake, why don’t you copy/paste your special note in the comments? We’d love to know exactly what Techland has to parse through.
