PlayStation 3D display pre-order gets Resistance 3

The 3D display Sony showed at their E3 press conference has been on my shopping list since then. The announced $499 bundle includes the 24-inch 3D Display, one pair of universal PlayStation 3D glasses, MotorStorm Apocalypse on Blu-ray, and an HDMI cable. It already sounded like a great deal at that, but now Sony says that it will also include Resistance 3 as a pre-order bonus! To get all of this stuff for five-hundy you’ll need to have your pre-order in by September 30.

Specs? It’s 1080p, and has a 240hz refresh rate. It’s SimulView technology delivers individual full HD screen action to each player in two-player mode. There’s 2 HDMI and one Component port so that you can also hook up your PC, cable box or whatever else. A built-in subwoofer and speakers bring the boom.

Not to brag, but I’m playing Ico and Shadow of the Colossus in 3D now. They’re pretty sweet in 3D. If you don’t have a compatible display yet, this Sony set may be the easiest way to get into one.
