[Update] Contest closed! Winner is snuffsaid! Thanks to all that entered! Now go back to Black Ops and keep shooting people in the face!]

Starting this week, Raptr will be tracking the progress of everyone playing Call of Duty: Black Ops on the Xbox 360 and PC. Why? In order to giveaway a ton of prizes, that’s why! The more hours tracked by Raptr, the more prizes that will be given away.

Prizes will be unlocked in two ways. Individuals who rack up a certain amount of hours will be eligible or a handful of prizes such as a Kinect for Xbox 360. The real good stuff is unlocked globally as some big prizes will only be given away as more hours are unlocked in Black Ops with the top prize being a $2,000 PC gaming rig.

Raptr has a ton of prizes on offer and they’ve gone ahead and given us one a special limited edition Call of Duty: Black Ops-themed Gunnar Optiks shades to giveaway on Destructoid! The only catch is that we can’t give the prize away until one million hours are logged into Black Ops, but that shouldn’t take too long.

All you need to do is leave a comment on this post and we’ll randomly select one of you to give a Logitech prize pack consisting of a keyboard, mouse, joypad and more. You don’t even have to play Black Ops to enter. Just leave a comment, and once one million hours are hit, we’ll give away the prize to one of you. Also, contest is open WORLDWIDE!

And for those that aren’t in the know, Raptr is a social app for gamers that can track your stats on Xbox 360, PC, and PS3. It also functions as an IM client so you can chat with your buddies, and see what they are playing. Even if you don’t enter the promo, their app is just what gamers need.
