Fortnite loves a good scavenger hunt quest, and Chapter Seven, season three has quite a few of them for you to tackle. One of the tougher ones you’ll face tasks you with tracking down some Audio Logs around the island.
These items are rather small and tough to pinpoint, so you may have a difficult time working through this feat. It’s an essential mission for keeping up with the main storyline and earning some easy XP, though, so here’s how to find the Audio Logs in Fortnite.

All Audio Log locations in Fortntie Chapter 7, season 3
There are three Audio Logs you can find and listen to around the Chapter Seven, season three map in Fortnite. Each one has a specific spawn location around the island, and they’re all quite far apart, so it may take you a bit to travel to each one. Here’s where to find them.
- The first Audio Log can be found in a building near the west end of Shaken Sanctuary. Make your way to this main POI over near the southeast end of the island. Once you’re there, head over to the building on the left side of the river that runs through this area. Proceed inside and look for a small sparkling Audio Log sitting on the ground in front of a whiteboard.
- The second Audio Log can be found in a small metal building located east of Calamari Canyon, north of Sinister Strip, west of Frosted Flats, and south of The Battlewoods. This one is not at a main, named location, which can make finding it a bit trickier. The building you’re looking for is close to the massive collection of floating Zero Point Shards in the middle of the map, so look for a metal shack on a small cliff nearby to find it. The Audio Log is on the ground right inside this tiny building.
- The third Audio Log can be found inside an orange building over at Lifty Lodge. This main POI is located near the northwest corner of the island. Head to the snowy mountains and visit the building at the top of the ski lift area. On the main floor, you’ll spot this log sitting next to a wooden bench.
Each Audio Log is marked with a white diamond exclamation point icon once you’re in the general vicinity of it, so if you’re at the right spot but having trouble pinpointing one, look around for this symbol to make the process easier. All of the Audio Logs also have white sparkles once you’re in the same room as them.
Find the Audio Logs in Fortnite
To finish the find the Audio Logs quest, you need to find and listen to all three Audio Logs around the island. Once you’ve found each one, make sure you approach them and briefly hold down the button that pops up next to the “Listen to Audio Log” text to play the message. You need to hear what each one has to say to make progress in this mission, so don’t skip this step.
