PlanetSide 2 is a connected experience

Tara Long spoke with PlanetSide 2‘s creative director, Matt Higby, and senior art director, Tramell Isaac, just as the show was wrapping up for the year. In this interview from the Sony Online Entertainment booth, Tara gets details about the changes and additions coming to the game as it becomes a free-to-play affair. On a specifically cool note, Higby gives details about the connected tablet application for iOS and Android devices, which sounds pretty amazing.

I don’t think there was ever any chance in hell that I would have played PlanetSide in its original incarnation, but I’m down to try any free-to-play game at least once and there sounds to be some very cool things at work with this one.
