Pixelated shmup Imarisu looks beautiful, demo is out

Debuting in the new Comiket 89 trailer, Imarisu innocently showed up as part of the compilation. It kind of flew by me at the time, but the game’s site has been updated recently to include a demo, so you can check out the awesome pixel art for yourself.

It features typical bomb, shield, and charged shot mechanics, but it plays fairly well. Hopefully the final version will get localized at some point.
