Overwatch is holding another free weekend event

Running February 16 – 19

Blizzard’s latest free-play event for Overwatch starts right now. You’ll be able to play the team-based shooter on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One at no extra charge until Monday, February 19 at 11:59pm Pacific. (Note: You will need either PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold if you’re on console.)

As usual, the promotional event offers access to all of the game’s heroes and maps, plus Quick Play, Custom Games, and the Arcade. The timing here is great, too — Overwatch is currently running its Year of the Dog celebration and that includes a newly-reworked capture the flag mode.

My interest in Overwatch wanes from time to time, but right now, I’m all about it. A large part of that is due to the Overwatch League, which just concluded its first stage. For once, my team won!
