Just last week, Target of Australia announced that it would no longer carry copies of Grand Theft Auto V due to the game’s violent content. No big surprise there; Australia, after all. But, some don’t think that the move was purely altruistic.

Our huggable editor-in-chief Jonathan Holmes is one of those. Speaking with RT International (formerly Russia Today), Holmes is of the opinion that pulling the game was nothing more than a PR-savvy action, and that Target had already made plenty of money off GTA V in the past year. Further, when the next Grand Theft Auto releases, there’s a fair chance it’ll be right on that store shelf where it can make Target millions again.
