Our first glimpse of Double Fine’s Costume Quest

Ah, so this is Double Fine’s Costume Quest. As you might have guessed based on its trademark, it does, in fact, have to do with Halloween.

UGO, who has the exclusive, describes it as feeling “like a lost SNES role-playing adventure ported in high-definition 3D.” Looking over the screenshots, it appears as if kids are fighting monsters in badass-ified versions of their Halloween costumes. I like where this is going!

Costume Quest will be an Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network title, with its release appropriately set for October 31, 2010.
