Our first glimpse at Suda 51’s Codename D

Famitsu caught up with prolific Japanese game designers ahead of Kinect’s release, including Grasshopper Manufacture’s Suda 51. The publication once again worked its magic to get some new details, this time for Codename D, a Microsoft-published Kinect title for 2011.

It’s a no gun, no sword action game. It’s a game that will let you experience the invigorating feel that can be had because of Kinect,” explains Suda. Apparently it will have you fighting creatures in an amusement park “in the hopes of restoring your lost self.” As someone who hates clowns, that sounds creepy.

And that’s pretty much all of the new info for today. Still, it’s more than we knew previously about this bizarre game, and now we have a couple of screenshots for it.
