Let it hit your ears, then your brain, then your heart
There’s not a lot of negative criticism that can be levied against Ori and the Blind Forest. It just does everything so well. Tight platforming, unique mechanics, a gorgeous aesthetic — everything melds together to make an absolutely superb game.
One aspect that shouldn’t be overlooked is the fantastic soundtrack. In fact, if you want to isolate just that, oh boy, do I have good news for you. Ori‘s music is available in a variety of different places.
Major Nelson’s shared a few outlets to pick up Ori‘s OST. If you’re not the payin’ for stuff type, go with Spotify. I hear streaming music is all the rage with the kids these days. Maybe they’ll think you’re super neat, and they’ll ask you to pick them up some smokes from the Wawa. That’s how you’ll know you’re in with the cool (albeit significantly younger than you) kids.
