Oh no you didn’t: Majesco announces Drama Queens for Nintendo DS

Believe it or not, this is a game for Chad Concelmo. You may be wondering why I would compare a DS game for girls to the esteemed dolphin master, but allow me to explain: one of the objects of this game is to gain BFFs and steal BFFs from your opponents. You know what a BFF is, right?

Drama Queens is a virtual board game in which you play one of four girls, avoiding deadly “Drama Spaces” on the board as you make your way around trying to balance your friends, boyfriends and work life. Your goal, of course, is to become the most popular girl. Should be a snap, right?

Coming out this April, Drama Queens is either the most unintentionally hilarious thing I’ve ever seen or the exact game that I do not want my fictional daughter to play. Not that that says anything about its quality, mind you: it sounds like it could possibly be a fun game for young girls, but the moment my daughter starts wearing pink and clawing her way to the top of popularity contests, I’ll throw her out a window. And her little dog, too.
