Octopath Traveler has a new demo on the eShop

Closer to final build

We aren’t quite done with new information about Octopath Traveler. While Nintendo didn’t show any extra footage or even clue us into details, they did announce that a new demo will be available on the eShop this week. Launching on the 14th, the “Prologue” demo will include the first chapter of all eight main characters’ stories. You’ll even be able to transfer your save data to the main game when it launches next month.

As for an actual look at the game, a trailer came up after the Direct that basically summarizes the YouTube description. It goes over the stories behind each character and gets you up to speed on what you’ll need to know for this new demo. It isn’t very eventful, but Octopath Traveler is still a pure joy to look at.
