Obsidian bringing better PC controls to Dungeon Siege III

Dungeon Siege III has become a surprisingly polarizing game since it launched this week, most notably among the perpetually annoyed demographic of PC gamers. The biggest issue facing the PC version is that the mouse and keyboard controls are rubbish — an issue Obsidian aims to fix.

Lead designer Nathaniel Chapman brought the good word, claiming that the PC control scheme is the one thing he wanted to have more time on, and that his team is now on the case. He also wanted to make a better tutorial and more unique armor variants, but that such things “might be good sequel or DLC material.”

Hopefully that update will come soon, as Dungeon Siege III is a pretty damn fun game — even though some purists have named me a charlatan for daring to think so.
