I’m not sure what I was expecting from this lineup. Too much? Microsoft has come out with the list of games that Xbox Live Gold subscribers can download for free next month:
Xbox One
- Pneuma: Breath of Life (November 1 – 30)
- Knight Squad (November 16 – December 15)
Xbox 360
- DiRT 3 (November 1 – November 15)
- Dungeon Siege III (November 16 – November 30)
For what it’s worth, Brett enjoyed Knight Squad at PAX South, describing it as “a dose of Bomberman, a dash of Gauntlet, and a whole heaping of trash-talking your friends.”
Special note: the Xbox 360 offerings, DiRT 3 and Dungeon Siege III, will be playable on Xbox One after the New Xbox One Experience update lands on November 12. And better yet, going forward, all Xbox 360 titles in Games with Gold will be backward compatible. Lovely.
