Nosgoth goes into closed beta today

And reminds us all how much we want a new Legacy of Kain

Nosgoth is that free-to-play third-person shooter set in the Legacy of Kain universe. It’s also that game that makes us wish there would be a new legit Legacy of Kain game every single time we have to talk about it.

Anyway, you can signup for the beta here. The closed beta phase will include a new Siege mode that sees humans needing to capture specific points, while the Vampire players need to hunt down the humans and suck their blood. Nosogth will see continuous updates throughout the closed beta, and we can expect things like new maps, modes, character classes, weapons, and more.

Forget about the Legacy of Kain tie-in for a second and Nosgoth is a pretty decent third-person shooter. It’s something.
